Raising 18k to fund an 8th grade program for the school of our partner farm, Finca Terrerito.
$715.00 raised of $18,000.00
story time.
in the spring of '26, we were invited to sit in a classroom at finca terrerito.
the students welcomed us with dancing, showed us their garden projects, taught us to sing a few songs in spanish, & practiced their english with pride.
we came expecting to learn about the coffee farms we source from. we left having experienced something far more beautiful than we could have imagined.
we shared meals together, swapped stories, & were welcomed into a way of life rooted in generosity, intention, & honest work.
their care for the community & their warm hospitality left a kind impression on our team.
we’re incredibly grateful to play a small role in carrying finca t’s endeavors forward, one step closer to your cup.

OUR GOAL
working together for the long haul...
a few years back, finca terrerito partnered with the matiak foundation to build a community school on their farm. funds were raised, a foundation was layed, & teachers were hired to pour into the next generation.
right now, the school serves students through 7th grade. students are given a space to safely play, practice english, & to learn gardening among other technical skills.
our short-term goal: raise $18,000 to expand the school through 8th grade.
this funding will support:
a full-time teacher (majority of funds)
classroom materials & lunches
curriculum expansion
continued school development
our long term-goal: to keeping showing up year after year as a supportive partner, witnessing & participating in one another's growth.
a neighbor from afar
if you drink our coffee you're already part of this story...
each cup brewed with coffee from finca terrerito helps to support it’s mission. this crowdfund is simply another way to come alongside the people who grow it :)
A VEHICLE FOR CONNECTION
why crowdfund?
coffee has often been about connection for us.
it connects conversations across a table in evansville, & it connects us to the hands that grew it in honduras.
this school exists because of those same kinds of connections...folks getting to know one another, supporting one another, & showing up one day a time alongside one another.
we didn’t want this to be funded quietly or from a distance. we wanted it to feel like what it is: a shared story.
crowdfunding gives us the chance to step into that story & invite others along the way.
want to come alongside?
we're not just asking for donations. each option below helps fund the expansion of the school at finca terrerito while giving you something meaningful in return.
these perks are designed to support the project first while covering the minimum cost of the item itself.
