our evansville coffee co story

who we are
evansville coffee co.

we just shared a little video telling a bit more of our hearts in what we're doing at ecc, & hope you'll enjoy it.

while you're at it, you may notice a new face in there: jacob seger, our director of coffee.

a new role here at ecc, jacob is the main touchpoint for our wholesale partners. he works hand-in-hand with ethan, our lead roaster, to ensure quality that goes above & beyond.

in fact, with jacob have come some new products...

he's been working hard with our team to develop something new, which we're excited to announce. in collaboration with our sister company, honey moon, bottled drinks are ready to go.

bottled drinks

we're excited about this, because it offers new possibilities to customers & cafes alike. we're already stocking fridges at all honey moon locations & are available to stock wholesale partners with many yummy drinks.

right now, here's what's available for wholesale:

  • strawberry, lavender, and classic lemonades
  • ready-to-drink & concentrated cold brew (great as a base for cold drinks)
  • cold brew lattes: salted caramel & a rotating seasonal

these are available by the 12oz bottle & 64oz growler to serve how you’d like. we'd love to talk with you more about how these can serve as great grab-and go items and menu additions.

below, an exclusive conversation for our wholesale partners:

tariff impact: how will you be affected?

let's dive in a little. you may have seen headlines over recent months regarding recent tariffs & their impact on coffee

we thought you may want to hear it from us. here's what we're seeing, and what we're doing as it relates to you.

the c-market (the coffee commodity market, an average on coffee prices) can be volatile; last year, prices rose across the industry as severe weather hit countries such as brazil & vietnam. the market had just begun to stabilize the last few months, but with new tariffs, prices have begun to leap and bound in coffee yet again.

this presents unique challenges, as almost 100% of coffee in the united states is imported from outside countries. while many are lobbying for coffee's exemption from said tariffs, many countries we source from already have newly increased tariffs in place for coffee.

this is where we have your back.

last year, as imported, unroasted coffee prices rose, we were grateful to be able to hold the line with minimal changes on our price of roasted coffee to you. this was made possible through business growth, efficiencies, relationships with farmers, & simple trust that markets will stabilize again.

this year, we're doing the same thing, watching the market actively.  though tariffs are a new and rapid price increase, they haven’t yet surpassed last year’s fluctuations; we are able to again hold steady on our prices to you.

as time passes, we're watching, sourcing, & diligently working to import excellent coffees at fair prices. we'll keep you updated, but for today: don't worry. your costs from us are stable.

if you'd like to talk more, please reach out! ethan or jacob would love to chat with you more about this & what you can be expecting in the industry.

in the meantime, cheers. let’s keep serving this coffee community, folks
