A polyculture farm with an invaluable natural reserve. Rosario Pecul sprawls across 450 acres of land. It cultivates several products including coffee, macadamia, and pine. However, 350 acres are used for cultivation while the rest of the 100 acres are untouched natural reserves. Rosario Pecul believes in conservation as essential for both Guatemala and the world in a time when global warming, deforestation, and water pollution are becoming increasing problems. In just one year, Rosario Pecul observed over a 190 different birds in its conservation area.
