Description
Medium body with black currant, cedar, and lingering finish.
Tanzanian coffees are grown on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, under the shade of banana trees—truly an exotic location for this East African coffee. Tanzanian coffee is somewhat similar to the coffee of Kenya: bright, clean, and aggressively complex.
Peaberry coffees are smaller beans created when the bean within the cherry does not develop into two separate halves. One bean assumes the unique “pea” shape or as we in the US observe, a “football” shape. But nonetheless, the name “Peaberry” stuck.
The result is a novel, compact bean treasured for its rich flavor.
