Our Keurig® compatible cups are 100% recyclable, and are fresher, stronger, and more full-flavored than the cups you find in the grocery store. Each cup is hand-filled with precision-ground coffee and tested to make a “gold cup” strength 8 oz. cup of coffee.
This natural processed coffee from Brazil features a smooth creamy body, slight sweetness of cherry and caramel. Produced by the family of Angelo Scalco on their farm just west of Poço Fundo, an area known for exceptional growing conditions.
Angelo Scalco, who is of Italian descent, was born in Poço Fundo and has been growing coffee for over 50 years on his estate that he calls “Sitio Machado”. Sitio Machado is located in the community of Goncalves, 10 miles west of Poço Fundo. The coffee varieties that are cultivated on this estate are the Mundo Novo and Yellow Catuai types. Mr. Scalco has three sons, all of whom live with their families on the same farm, and they help cultivate and process the coffee using the full natural process. His sons take part in the harvesting and picking of the ripe coffee cherries while Mr. Scalco takes care of rotating the cherries as they are drying. The entire family understands the importance of growing and processing the harvest correctly because they know this will ensure the production of quality coffee from their farm.
