Pineapple, plum, clove, huge, juicy sweetness.
My friend Javier Palacios spotted me at CoffeeFest and called me over to the Guats Coffee cupping table. Javier and his partner Genero were bringing in 9 coffees from Huehuetenango and wanted me to taste them, even though a few of the lots were completely sold out. To my great fortune (and now yours) the best coffee on the table was a microlot from a small farm that knocked it out of the ballpark with a Pacamara and Maragogype blend. I convinced them to set aside 2 bags for me before the entire 60 bag lot was sold.
