Lucid Coffee Bar is located inside the historic Newburgh Country Store, which was recently reborn as The Refinery, a unique shop for gifts, furniture, and handmade artifacts.
Originating in Seattle, Washington, Starbucks is the best known coffee retailer due to their ubiquity and global presence. Their drinks are very consistent, from shop to shop, and the atmosphere is usually bustling with comfortable seating, light food and snacks, and whole bean coffee available for purchase.
Barber Bistro, located inside Roger’s Hair Academy, is a little hard to spot on a drive-by, but well worth finding. They rotate coffees from different micro-roasters and give great attention to detail when preparing all of their coffee drinks.

Located inside the Eastland Mall, Beans & Baristas offers shoppers a chance to take a break and enjoy an espresso drink. As a coffee shops go, the space is small and seating is limited, but there are also abundant seating areas throughout the mall so their size, and the shopping mall atmosphere is a small inconvenience.
One of Evansville’s newest coffeehouses, Honey Moon Coffee features the best local products, from craft roasted coffee to sandwiches, juices, and handcrafted ice cream from Bliss of Mount Vernon, Indiana.
Established in September 2000, Penny Lane Coffeehouse is one of the anchors of Evansville’s historic district. You can enjoy the funky vibe, artwork on the walls, or sit outside on the patio and enjoy the company of locals who make dropping in for coffee a part of their daily ritual.
Wired has new hours and a new barista at the helm with David Rudibaugh running the show and serving drinks from 6 am until 2 pm weekdays, and extended hours will be available for special events, including concerts and pop-up shops.
There’s no food (currently) but they are expecting to add some light snacks soon.
There is a funky vintage shop at the entrance, and a music venue with a large stage and a 220 person capacity.
River City Coffee Company is located inside the River City Mercantile on Evansville’s Main Street. With a passion for great coffee and a supply of beans from Quills, of Louisville Kentucky, Clint and Heather are serving up carefully crafted espresso drinks, V-60 pour overs, and cold brews. For a special treat, be sure to try one of their house-made syrups in your flavored latte for a great taste experience.
Originally established in 1994, David and Cynthia Jones bought Planters Cafe & Coffee Bar in October, 2015. With the new owners came a change in coffee roasters under a private label arrangement, as well as a selection of salads, soups, and fresh baked goods.

Black Lodge Coffee Roasters is a small batch coffee roastery and coffee shop located in downtown New Harmony. The owners, Mark and Amanda go to great lengths to serve great coffee, from roasting their own beans to calibrating the water they use for coffee beverages to SCAA brewing standards.
Sara’s Harmony Way is one of New Harmony, Indiana’s hottest local spots, offering light breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and shares space with a shop serving wine and beer. They often feature local performers either on their stage inside, or on the all-ages patio outside.
